In this role, you will create accurate and competitive estimates for a range of commercial and industrial projects valued between $50, 000 and $4 million. As a Senior HVAC Estimator, you will represent the company, frequently interacting with customers making strong communication and relationship-building skills essential to your success. This role calls for a high level of analytical, negotiation, leadership, and customer service skills, with a focus on collaboration. Aside from estimating projects, you will also lead one junior estimator. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, general contractors, and ownersPrepare quality estimates by reviewing specs, equipment, materials, and project requirementsNegotiate and adjust proposals to meet customer needsPromote company servicesSecure bid opportunitiesAttend pre-bid job walk meetings and site inspectionsCoordinate with the engineering team on both new and ongoing projectsEnsure accuracy in all project cost estimates and documentationCollaborate with internal project teamsManage communications and follow-ups with all stakeholders throughout the processLead and support junior estimators to strengthen their skills and knowledgeQualifications 5+ years of HVAC estimating experience required1+ years of management experience requiredExperience estimating commercial and industrial projects requiredKnowledge of bidding software required
