PositionAdhere to the HSE requirements stipulated by Company/ClientsAssist in the Instrumentation Engineering activities on projects, tenders under the direction of the Project Engineering Manager. Coordinate internal and external resourcesEnsure safe, effective and successful implementation of process engineering activities within budget and schedule requirements. Good knowledge of process measurements, Relief/ control/ ESD valves, Analysers, equipment protection system (Vibration/temperature), fire systems and PLCsSupport PID development; help maintain the PID's through the course of each project phaseCoordinate with process engineers to obtain process data for use in specifying tagged field instrumentsShall be capable of handling Instrumentation and control activities for the mechanical packages such as Dehydration, Sweetening, Produced water, Chemical injection etc. Shall be capable of handling Control system packages independently. Review and Prepare EI specifications, datasheets, calculations (sizing, load, equipment), Load list, Schematics, functional and interlock diagramsReview and Prepare Material requisition, Technical bid evaluations and review vendor drawingsTake part in Hazop, SIL and Design reviewsReview and when required Prepare materials take-offs and bill of materialsEnsure that changes are documented with approval from Project Engineering ManagerReview 2D drawings such as Hook-up drawings, Loop Drawings, Block drawings, JB drawings, Area classification, Cable Schedule, Drum Schedule, Cable routing, Instrument Location drawings, FG Layouts, control room drawings in accordance with Client specifications. Identify risks and opportunitiesEstablish good working relationshipsInterface with Subcontractors, Suppliers and Vendors for completion of engineering activitiesUndertake any other general duties that may be requested. Requirements- Minimum a Technical Diploma in Engineering Background with at least 8-10 years of design experience with an engineering consultancy/EPC company working for Industrial plants. - Good experience in 2 D 3 D Drawings preparation.
