An opportunity has arisen for an Auditor to join the Audit team in Italy.

You will start by supporting the Auditor in Charge (Senior Business Auditor) with the fieldwork stage of an audit across different Line of Businesses (local and global) in line with Group Audit standards.

As you become more comfortable with the process and our methodology, you will start being involved in the planning stage of the audit.

This role is available full time.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Building an in-depth understanding of Group Audit standards and methodology;

Assisting the Auditor in Charge in the planning and fieldwork stage of an audit;

Participating in local and global audits, completing audit work, and document audit results in line with Group Audit standards;

Operating with minimum supervision on smaller assignments, with sufficient guidance and subsequent review;

Agreeing on corrective actions and delivering the final output, i. e.

concluded testing programmes, with support from the Auditor in Charge;

Tracking the implementation of agreed actions;

Developing own knowledge and business awareness by reviewing available resources and interacting with multiple stakeholders;

Contributing to the Group Audit global team through own professional skills, technical knowledge and innovative initiatives / projects.

Relationship

Ability to make good and fair relationship with audited people/business;

Travel & other requirements

No important travel will be required.

Qualification / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics;

Approximately 5/6 years of work experience working in Big 4 or internal audit department;

Experience within complex organizations;

International Certification (CIA, CISA, CFSA) will be a plus.

If not owned an International certification have to be gained within 12 months to hiring.

Competencies and skills

Demonstrate relevant business knowledge;

Knowledge of principles of internal controls, processes, assessment and design of compliance testing;

Detailed knowledge of industry audit practices plans and trends;

Good understanding of Industry, key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues, standards and guidelines, regulatory environment and developments;

Italian regulation framework (Insurance & Financial institutions Law, IVASS, Covip and Consob regulations);

Knowledge of Solvency II Framework;

Good knowledge of principal office automation tool;

Principal insurance tools knowledge;

Fluent in English and Italian.
