Senior Italian Payroll Specialist – Naples, Italy – Hybrid
Our fast-growing team in Italy is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with expertise in Italian payroll.
In this role, you'll handle the operational processing of payrolls, ensuring accuracy for SSAE 16 audits and compliance with statutory requirements, while collaborating with CloudPay's global payroll operations team.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include: Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time, and efficiently Analyse payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll Partner with the Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers are completed between Project Delivery to Operations Support the Software Release process by validating that new features have been accurately developed Support any parallel runs if testing is needed on a new requirement Ability to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll Research discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries on time in line with client service level agreements and expectations Maintains payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance Validate payroll requirements to ensure that sufficient information is provided by the client to enable set-up and configuration to be completed successfully Provide payroll training and guidance to team members Attributes and Experience Required: Deep knowledge and experience in a consulting company or in the HR Payroll and Administrative department of a multinational company Knowledge of Italian legal requirements, statutory forms reporting, etc Experience in any related payroll software and suite MS Office Experience of Zucchetti is beneficial Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team Forward-thinking, able to plan and organize own workload Team player with the ability to share information and interact positively with others Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong Italian and English language skills required Package and Benefits: Competitive annual salary 26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Earned Wage Access (via CloudPay Now app) Birthday leave Flexible Hybrid Working Personal and professional development opportunities Friendly working environment CloudPay is committed to being an equal opportunities employer.
