For our Client, an engineering group operating in infrastructure sector, we are looking for a: LEGAL COUNSEL   On a functional basis he/she will report to the Senior Counsel in charge of legal affairs in Europe.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES As a part of the Global Legal Team, she/he will cooperate with the local legal function and with the legal Counsel in charge of legal affairs in Europe, offering a genuine support on several matters such as compliance policy's respect, review potential litigation cases, legal and administrative duties of the company in Italy and in other countries where company operates.

She/he will provide legal advice and analysis on the full range of issues (mainly contractual and litigation) arising in the countries where the company performs its activities.

She/he will draft and advise on a wide range of contracts and agreements with respect to company's worldwide projects.

records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established Contracts and those in progress will support contract negotiations through.

She/he will deal with internal clients and operational teams, clients, consortium partners, subcontractors and their legal advisors, senior management on a day-to-day basis.

She/he will understand and extensively know the active projects and the tenders in preparation.

Provide an advisory service to internal stakeholders and challenge legal matters though risks identification and mitigation advice.

Liaise with local insurance brokers for projects and tenders.

Draft legal notices and lead the support towards management of dispute cases.

Participate to the Group legal network EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Post Graduate Law Degree (Master, LLM or PHD) LANGUAGE SKILLS Fluent in English (written and spoken) CAREER BACKGROUND Solid knowledge of Italian public procurement rules, engineering contracts and EPC contracts is mandatory Experience in Design and Build projects Post Qualification experience at least 4 years Experience of negotiating and drafting contracts and transaction documents Previous experience in an international environment -engineering and/or construction company is preferred LOCATION : ROME with period trips in Italy
