Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence Capabilities
Huhtamaki is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager of Commercial Excellence, Capabilities to join our Flexible packaging segment.
A key member of the Global Commercial Excellence organization, this high-profile role will drive strategies and instil the commercial excellence mindset and culture within our Flexibles segment.
With a significant degree of independence, this position is responsible for developing and improving processes including, but not limited to, margin management, contract management, pipeline management and value selling around Huhtamaki's new products portfolio.
This role will drive transformative change predominantly through the creation, training and implementation of best practices, commercial tools & capabilities.
The ideal candidate has a combination of commercial excellence/pricing experience and consulting background.
Advanced analytical skills, a can-do attitude, experience in change management as well as driving complex projects to execution in partnership with multiple stakeholders are also important to succeed in this role.
This person can be based in any of the following locations: Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Italy, Czechia, UK, France, Spain or Italy.
Primary Responsibilities Drive the development and execution of commercial process improvements to improve customer centricity, salesforce effectiveness and productivity, and speed to market for Huhtamaki's new products.
Provide project management support for special commercial-focused projects.
Support and jointly lead workshops and trainings with regional CE and sales teams focused on commercial excellence initiatives.
Create best practices and guidance for commercial-focused processes.
Ensure implementation of deal making best practices such as commercial terms compliance, conditioned quotes etc.
Support value selling strategies alongside the commercial team.
Define go-to-market strategies in line with company's objectives.
Create value propositions answering markets, segments and customers' needs for new products.
As a thought leader and a change agent, build roadmaps for new commercial capabilities and partner with multiple key stakeholders to execute on them in a manner to maximize the value for the company and to instill a commercial excellence culture.
Drive profitable growth through value-based pricing, improved commercial terms, and execution based on commercial best practices.
Encourage an environment of continuous improvement and embrace Huhtamaki processes such as Commercial Excellence, as well as exchanging ideas and best practices with other markets and global commercial stakeholders.
Education & Preferred Experience Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or other relevant degree.
7+ years of overall business experience with a minimum of 5 years in consulting and/or commercial excellence.
Pricing experience is preferred; experience in flexible packaging is a plus.
Must be self-directed, self-motivated and a self-starter.
Strong analytical mindset, advanced analytical skills and a proven record of building sophisticated analytics in Excel.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Experience performing advanced data analysis, articulating and explaining analyses and presenting results to multiple levels within an organization.
High business acumen and experience of effective partnership with key stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all levels within a complex organization.
Up to 25% international or regional travel may be required.
