The Senior Manager, Network Development & Sales, will be responsible for overseeing the performance, growth, and efficiency of the Italian retail network of franchising stores.
This role is also responsible for the expansion of our franchising network, leading the Retail Network Development team.
This strategic leadership role involves driving business development initiatives, enhancing franchise operations, and ensuring the network meets key performance indicators.
Main Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the franchise network, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, core values, and strategic objectives. Define sales strategy and business objectives of the Italian Franchising Network starting from the analysis of sales and market data to identify new business growth opportunities. Carry out an annual store visits plan in order to support the network in terms of operational and sales activities tasks with direct presence throughout the territory. Assure excellence in the implementation of the sales process defined by the company through all the network and lead new commercial initiatives to increase sales potential and market opportunities. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of senior managers to create synergies across different functions to align operational goals with broader business objectives. Negotiate and manage all framework agreements in place with commercial partners. Manage logistics operations to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries, solving critical business challenges related to the network. Collaborate with Corporate Functions (i. e.
Marketing, Finance, IT, L&D) to launch new service/products monitoring KPIs, revenue growth, ensuring compliance with corporate standards. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to analyze sales performance and identify trends. Leverage data insights to drive sales strategies, improve store performance, and inform decision-making. Qualifications Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network development, sales, or retail management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing franchise networks or retail chains. Strong background in logistics and commercial negotiations with couriers and suppliers. Financial acumen with experience managing P&L and delivering business growth. Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational excellence. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Experience collaborating with BI teams for data-driven decision-making. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Fluency in Italian and English and proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Willingness to travel frequently across Italy to oversee store operations and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
