The role in a Snapshot Join us as a Senior Manager, Payment Systems that oversees the management, optimisation, and strategic development of the organisation's payment systems. This role involves ensuring the efficiency, security, and scalability of payment processes, managing internal and external relationships with payment service providers. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, drive process improvements, and align payment systems with the company's financial strategies and objectives.

Join our talented team and work in a hybrid format from our office. Your Role in Our Journey Oversee the daily operations of the payment systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. Manage and maintain payment platforms, gateways, and related financial systems. Create optimal payment strategies (e. g. , scoring of customers, number of instalments, timing of payments). Collaborate with subsidiaries to reduce trapped cash and optimize working capital. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and lead initiatives to improve efficiency, security, and user experience. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company's payment systems current and competitive. Manage relationships with payment service providers (PSPs), banks, and other financial institutions. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable services. Work closely with internal stakeholders across the organization to align payment systems with business needs. Monitor and manage risks associated with payment systems, including fraud prevention and detection, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Implement AI-driven solutions for fraud detection and retry logic. Ensure the integration of multi-PSP systems, driving smooth operations and business continuity across different platforms. Oversee the preparation of financial reports related to payment systems. Conduct analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Your impact: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e. g. , ACCA) is preferred. Hands-on experience with big data tools (e. g. , Apache Spark) to manage and analyze large datasets effectively. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or payment systems in a B2C/customer-facing context. Strong knowledge of recurring payments and localization of payment methods, as well as global payment challenges. Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts in a B2C/customer-facing context. Deep understanding of multi-PSP integration to ensure seamless coordination between payment systems and service providers. Experience with AI-driven solutions for fraud detection and retry logic, adding value to payment strategies. Solid background in fraud prevention and a project management role in the tech sector is highly beneficial. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
