This position reports to the Head of Mechanical Design Engineer or its designee and is located in Maranello (Modena), Italy.

The role is responsible for the design of components and mechanical assemblies related to the frame.

Key Responsibilities: Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all staff and departments of the team.

Design components and mechanical assemblies related to the F1 chassis, including the study and design of components through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drawing to obtain reliable, high-performance solutions and optimized sizing.

Work on components covering suspensions, wheels, hydraulic, fuel and cooling systems, including equipment for homologation of the car and its handling on the ground (e. g. , legality checks, equipment for pit stops).

Provide technical support to MoneyGram Haas F1 Team external suppliers to increase the efficiency of the design and production process and improve the quality of the final products.

Follow all safety rules in all locations.

Perform other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Education and Work Experience: Must have a degree in mechanical engineering with over 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a professional motorsport environment (F1 preferred).

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, self-motivation, time management, conflict resolution, adaptability, and readiness to learn.

Able to work in a team environment at a very high level with a positive work attitude.

Knowledge of the correct method to use tools and equipment.

Equipment and Applications: CAD systems: CATIA V5 / V6.

PLM: Windchill / 3DX.
