Senior Mechanical EngineerPermanent positionBased in RivoliSalary - €65, 000-85, 000 per annum, DOEEU nationals onlyOur Oil & Gas client, a specialist within pipelay and cablelay systems, are recruiting for the above role on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone who lives fairly local, or willing to relocate to the area.

Initially, this will be full time in the office, and once comfortable and up to speed, you will have the option to work 3 days in the office / 2 days from home. In terms of experience, we are looking for someone with a thorough understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic circuit design & component selection and good working knowledge of FEM tools. Key responsibilities:Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design and develop customised customer-centric designProduce and check Mechanical engineering documentation deliverables through quick and accurate engineering analyses (3d and 2d drawings, bills of materials, spreadsheet calculations, technical specifications, component selection, FEM calculations, etc.

)Ensure all deliverables are technically in accordance with client requirementsEnsure timely and thorough review of client specifications and communication of findingsParticipate in internal design review meetings, being aware of commercial implicationsAttend and participate in client meetings, always ensuring customer care is at the foremost positionContribute to the investigation, resolution and documentation of Engineering Queries in a timely and technically acceptable fashionReduce cost of product through new design simplification and existing product redesignTravel required as dictated by project needs (worldwide travel) for client meetings, and to provide site installation, commissioning and testing support #J-18808-Ljbffr
