Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home!All about the role:We are looking for the Mechanical Development Engineerto work as part of the Mechanics & NVH Team in the Care Laboratory community where the focus is to create the consumer experience defining technologies functionalities able to deliver product performances according to legislation and target specifications. In detail you will:Perform product testing of mechanical components according to specification, timing and resources on Washing Machines, Washer Dryers, Tumble Dryers and Dishwashers and ensure test report working outMaintain relevant test manual and procedures inside mechanical laboratory and collaborate in developing test or data analysis methods to improve mechanical quality and speed up projects testingSupport the alignment on test methodologies across the different regionsActively support innovative approach and continuous improvementsDeploy mechanical specifications for machines, modules and componentsSupport Lab organization in the development of internal procedures and tools in the area of product testingBe part of Product Development together with R&D partners and stakeholderTest product performance according to international and internal standard in the area of mechanical laboratoryGuarantee preparation, maintenance, storage of testing material and testing productsVerify product functionality and cycle compliance during testing executionReport anomalies, unexpected operations, events worthy of note during test executionGenerate improvement and innovation proposalsSupport internal network of global and regional laboratories and an external network of recognized laboratories for test activities, measurements and instrument calibrationsWho you are:Mechanical degree and/or similar experience (min 3 years)Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisitions system, testing procedures and evaluations of resultsKnowledge of software programming with advance competence on Matlab/Python and common Windows application; LMS-Siemens is a plus)Knowledge of statistical methods and toolsGood communication skillsWhere you will be:You will be based in Porcia, located in the metropolitan area of Pordenone (Northeast Italy), where the main Electrolux R&D centre is located.
