Description Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, is looking for a Senior National Sales Manager to join their team in the US. You will oversee sales for their division that manufactures agriculture equipment and works with dealer partners across the US and Canada. Overseeing both Regional Sales Managers (8) and an Inside Sales/Operations Team (6), you will work with the Executive Leadership Team to optimize the dealer channel allowing for increased market share and revenue growth. To achieve this, you will create retail, wholesale, and dealer programs while devising a plan for its tactical execution in the field. They are looking for someone who has been the driver of leveraging product marketing with sales opportunities that allow for bottom line expansion. Someone who can clearly communicate how they have played a key role in launching retail programs that have expanded dealer engagement allowing for better promotion of product lines. Although they have the backing of their international billion-dollar parent company, they operate in more of an entrepreneurial start-up like environment. For that reason, they are looking for like-minded individuals who crave innovation and autonomy. Someone who does not rest on their past accolades and understands how important accountability is to ensuring overall team performance. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with division objectivesAnalyze market trends and identify growth opportunitiesBuild monthly and quarterly retail & wholesale programsManage a high-performing sales team (14) and drive individual accountabilityBuild and maintain strong relationships with key dealer partnersProvide solutions to enhance customer loyalty and satisfactionPrepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, monitor performance against targetsWork with marketing teams on Voice of Customer research to adjust sales strategiesCollaborate cross-functionally to align sales activities with overall business objectivesImplement sales enablement initiatives to increase efficiency and expand market shareQualifications 10+ years of field sales experience required5+ years of equipment sales experience through independent dealers requiredNational sales leadership experience overseeing a team of 5 or more requiredStrong background creating retail and wholesale promotional programs requiredWillingness and ability to travel 50-60% (typically by air)
