Geospatial and Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a SR level Network Engineer to join our team Your role as a Senior Network Engineer will be to monitor and control the performance and status of network resources across multiple enclaves utilizing software and hardware tools; configure and install networking hardware/software replacements and upgrades; and work hand in hand with tenant agency engineers in support of building networking related projects. You will identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting network performance. Duties to include: Install, monitor, and perform remote diagnosis, configuration management, and technical support of switches and routers as well as analog and digital circuits for voice, data, and video systems. Troubleshoot networking issues and outages, which may occur during non-core hours. Conduct network and system performance monitoring, load balancing, and troubleshooting. Work with vendors in support of the client. Ensure all networking applicable STIGs and vulnerabilities are resolved or mitigated in a timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance services on all devices within the networking area of responsibility. Maintain a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in data center as well as service provider. Required Skills: DoD 8570 - IAT Level II (GSEC, Security CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) Top Secret Clearance is required to start, must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI. Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer system/network engineering. Experience with Cisco routers and Catalyst switches.
