Social network you want to login/join with:Petroplan are pleased to be recruiting a Senior Permitting Manager on behalf of a leading player in the solar energy sector, specializing in photovoltaic (PV) development.

Committed to delivering top-tier solutions, operates across the entire solar PV value chain, spanning development, construction, and ongoing operation and maintenance. Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the development of the project portfolio for large-scale PV projects arising from M&A, co-developments, or internal development until they achieve RtB status. Depending on individual expertise, effectively assist internal teams in project preparation for construction and provide support until COD. Manage relationships with external stakeholders professionally, including development partners, public entities, legal and technical advisors, and landowners. Drive project permitting progress by coordinating various workstreams with the Permitting Team and other internal departments. Ensure the economic viability of projects and pipeline opportunities by overseeing technical and financial assessments and managing internal approval processes. Establish development budgets, manage costs, and monitor cash flow, while also overseeing internal pipeline reporting. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of local market legislation, regulations, and support schemes. Requirements:Development: Thorough understanding of the 'greenfield' development process for solar PV projects in Italy, including site control, interconnection, and permitting procedures, with knowledge of associated business development costs. Permitting Process: Minimum 5 years of experience in the permitting process (VIA/PAUR/AU) for utility-scale PV systems (MV/HV). Management: Strong Project Management skills and experience in team management.
