Senior Pricing Specialist, Genoa
RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Pricing Specialist to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Global Marketing & Pricing Division.
Mission The Senior Pricing Specialist plays a crucial role in designing and implementing pricing strategies for the launch of new services, as well as analyzing the performance of the whole service portfolio in terms of revenue and margins on a global scale.
Key Accountabilities Designing and Implementing Pricing Processes:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies for new services, considering factors such as market demand, competitive landscape, and value proposition.
- Design pricing models and structures that align with business objectives, profitability targets, and customer value perceptions.
- Establish pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness across different markets and regions.
- Implement pricing tools and systems to facilitate pricing decisions and streamline the pricing process.
Launching New Services:
- Lead the pricing strategy for the launch of new services, working closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and willingness to pay for new services.
- Develop pricing strategies tailored to different customer segments, geographic regions, and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define pricing tiers, packaging options, and promotional offers for new services.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze the performance of launched services in terms of revenue, profitability, and margins.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing, including average selling price, discount levels, and revenue per customer.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize pricing, maximize revenue, and improve profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and product capacity teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to sales teams on pricing negotiations, discount approvals, and deal structuring.
- Work closely with product management to incorporate pricing considerations into product development and lifecycle management.
- Communicate pricing decisions, updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance Management
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, or related roles, preferably in a global or multi-national company.
Proven track record of designing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Experience in analyzing pricing performance and conducting market research to inform pricing decisions.
Excellent understanding of pricing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
Familiarity with pricing software, tools, and systems (e. g. , pricing optimization software, revenue management systems).
