Description:The incumbent represents the Customer within an Institutional Project for all Quality related matters, and as such she/he will ensure that Product Assurance activities in the frame of that specific Project are carried out in compliance to Company Quality Management System, Standards and Regulations, and Contract Requirements.

To thi aim she/he willEstablish and maintain appropriate interface with the Customer Quality representative, for all relevant PA mattersRepresent the privileged interface for the Project Management team for all relevant PA mattersEstablish the Project PA Plan (if applicable), in accordance to the PA requirements, and ensure that it is correctly implemented throughout the ProjectCoordinate the activities of the Project Quality team, ensuring that the PA Plan is correctly flowed down at all levels, internally and towards external suppliersPrepare and maintain throughout the Project Quality documents under her/his responsibility, and verify other Quality / Project documentsEnsure that all processes related to NC's management are in place and implemented, internally and within suppliers and sub-contractors, giving visibility to the Customer as relevantEnsure a proper reporting of Quality aspects towards the Customer, the PMO and the managementEnsure the participation to (internal and Customer) Project meetings and reviews as relevant, providing Quality contribution whenever necessaryMonitor the expenditures of the Quality team on the Project, and highlight / discuss discrepancies with the Quality team and the PM as necessaryEnsure that lessons learnt are formalized, capitalized & promotedExercise the duty of alerts and the right of veto according to existing processesEnsure that Risk Management processes are well executed, and provide proactive contributionsEnsure that continuous improvement processes are in place and implemented4 - Main Interfaces: TAS Project Manager and Project teamCustomer PA Manager and Project teamTAS Project Quality team members Quality representatives of suppliers and partners, as applicable5 - Required Experiences and Skills10 years' experience in the Space Domain5 years in Quality (preferably as PA Manager)Knowledge of ECSS (especially Q-series)Capability to effectively coordinate and delegateCapability to effectively interface at management levelVery good communication and negotiation skillsProactivity, open-mindednessFluency in EnglishAt Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
