What will you do? Casavo is looking for a skilled Senior Product Designer with strong expertise in UI design to join our talented design team.
You will help ideate awesome digital products end-to-end.
You'll be key in bridging business needs with end-users; your design skills will be crucial in improving our products' usability and aesthetics, making a significant impact on our final customers' experiences.
You'll join a skilled cross-functional team and take an active part in a Design Community to share your knowledge and inspire others.
As a Casavo Senior Product Designer you will:
Design and craft unique products that are Useful and Valuable to users. Have full ownership of the design strategy for the products in your domain by approaching complex problems with simple design solutions. Work alongside different colleagues and stakeholders such as PMs, POs, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Developers. Contribute to the growth of our Design Community through sharing and critique practices with other Product Designers.
You'll help define design standards and evangelize our design culture across the company. Measure your product team's work impact by analyzing data and seeing results in the real world. Collect user needs, formulate and validate hypotheses to iterate your design choices. Key qualifications for the role At least 5+ years experience building digital products ideally in a tech or real estate company (responsive websites, mobile apps, TV apps, and other digital interfaces - experience with products involving other user interactivity like voice commands is welcomed!
)Experience working in an agile software development organization, deeply involved with multidisciplinary teams (developers, PMs, POs, Marketing. . . )Experience or good knowledge of usability testing (you'll be responsible for discovering new opportunities to test and organize usability tests with your team members). Experience in funnel optimization is preferred. Key responsibilities Writing user stories in collaboration with your team and managing backlog items, incorporating design tasks and metrics. Working alongside PMs, POs, and other related stakeholders involved in the product development process. Collaborating closely with content designers to integrate content seamlessly with UI design. Working side-by-side with Developers. Using Jira or similar software for backlog and software delivery processes. Understanding the digital product pipeline process and identifying key stakeholders to deliver successful products. Prioritizing UI solutions to concentrate on the features that deliver the most value for a product. Having an iterative mindset to incrementally deliver value to users and fail with the lowest impact possible on business. UI & Interaction Design Developing high-quality UIs using Figma, Sketch, or similar design software. Ideating, collaborating, and maintaining a Design System. Generating Wireframes and Prototypes using Figma or similar software.
Advanced prototyping skills (ProtoPie, Framer X, Origami Studio) are highly welcomed. Crafting user interactions across multiple devices and platforms like Web, Mobile (iOS/Android/Windows), and others. Quality Assurance: Working in teams using automated testing practices or with QA team members that carry out testing procedures. Understanding the fundamentals of QA testing processes and the importance of product quality. Documentation Producing use cases and user flows to back up your solutions. Communicating clearly and concisely to explain your ideas among your peers. Writing documentation that helps your colleagues stay in sync. Speaking and writing in English. Creating, conducting, or supporting great Workshops on product-related matters. Design vision Drafting and executing a design vision together with your fellow colleagues. Explaining the vision to stakeholders and getting their buy-in. Designing a strategy to realize it. Executing the strategy while supporting others in the execution.
