We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join Amazon Chemical Safety and Compliance team and lead high-impact, global initiatives focused on improving safety and compliance processes.

The role requires someone who prioritizes well, has a consistent track record of successful high complexity project delivery, is experienced in creating and presenting documentation for senior executives, has proven ability to manage, influence, and engage a broad group of stakeholders and to align plans with Amazon's strategic objectives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as experience at data analysis for identifying root causes and developing solutions, with a strong customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities: Defining the strategy for Chemical Safety and Compliance worldwidePartnering with internal stakeholders to understand challenges and business needs and help identify solutionsLeading the global strategy to enable selling partners to comply with chemical safety requirementsCollaborating with other Amazon teams to identify best practices and opportunitiesLeveraging data analysis skills to clarify ambiguous problems, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams where necessary, communicating and implementing recommendationsMonitoring and reporting on multiple activities' progress, including significant milestones and any conditions affecting the overall program deliverablesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related areaExperience managing high complexity cross-functional programs, including multiple groups of stakeholders and in an international environmentExperience working with Product teams to implement scalable technical solutionsPreferred QualificationsAbility to design processes that start with the customer and work backwardExcellent communication skills (both oral and written), ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiencesExperience with root cause analysis and process designComfortable with ambiguityAbility to travel internationallyExperience with chemical regulations such as GHS, REACH, CLP, TSCAExperience in compliance programsKnowledge/Certification of Six Sigma/LeanAdvanced user of Excel and SQLKnowledge of French, German, Spanish and/or ItalianAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
