We are looking for a Senior Commercial Project Controller , to be hired with a permanent contract within the Smart Infrastructure area.

Your Challenge As a Senior Commercial Project Controller , your mission will be to manage a team of commercial project controllers to ensure high standards for the completion of all projects' commercial/financial related matters and perform general controlling operations in the assigned business unit.

Being part of a lead country, having exposure to multi-country, multi-cultural working, as well as a big picture approach, are important considerations.

Some of the main activities will be: Guide your team to manage projects throughout the project Life Cycle.

Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e. g.

SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local Gaap requirements.

Ensure all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities together with your team.

Support the business unit manager with the analysis of the financial results according to defined targets and optimize the project gross profit, cash flow, and assets and financing instruments.

Together with the PM, proactively set up a contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager.

Represent the projects in the relevant decision boards internally and externally.

Act together with your team according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establish a culture of trust and integrity.

Support consolidation of all accounting, financial reporting, and other finance-related operations.

Coordinate the long-term and short-term planning activities, gathering and validating figures from the other business unit functions/countries.

Drive the monthly performance review process, analyzing actuals, including cause & effect analysis to provide insights on deviations vs budget/forecast and identifying potential countermeasures.

Identify ad hoc metrics for performance measurement.

Manage multiple collaborators: business unit management, headquarter, sales and operation, country controlling.

Actively drive internal digital transformation on financial reporting and the optimization/continuous improvement of financial processes, in coordination with local collaborators.

Support monthly closing activity, reporting, and cost controlling.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have: Capabilities to work in a team within a multimatrix organization and create a positive and proactive environment.

Certification as Commercial Project Manager as a plus.

Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting principles.

Proven track record of sales and cost controlling activities.

Proven experience in the use of SAP; nice to have experience in Qlik/PowerBI.

Passion to never stop growing.

Proficiency in English and Italian.
