Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for an Senior Project Engineer to join us in Milan on an permanent basis.

The Senior Project Engineer will be required to work closely with our newly established team and client in Uzbekistan.

This position has responsibility for supporting a major mining project through the project development life cycle working closely with Wood offices around the World.

This position requires a technical background with Russian & English language skills being highly desirable (Italian would be a plus).

A key component of the role is assisting Woods in-country team and the client to develop the basic design and detailed design of a complex mining project, executed with an extensive work-sharing approach.

This role will be well suited to a driven self-starting engineer and will provide unrivalled personal growth in the fields of project engineering.

The company maintains mining offices across Canada, the USAand Australia, as well as in Santiago, Chile, Lima, Peru and Johannesburg, South Africa.

**Responsibilities**:

Interface and relations with Client

Coordinate disciplines activities and control and forecast work area activities and deliverables against schedule

Work in coordination with procurement and subcontracting group as well as estimate department

Prepare erection requisition for mechanical works

CoordinateJunior Project Engineersduring the preparation of key project documents (P&Id's, line list, equipment list etc.

)

Organise, contribute and prepare notes for multidiscipline meetings

Interface with other operating offices (South Africa, Chile, India) monitoring schedule and quality of executed activities

Directly reports to PM and PEM

Skills / Qualifications

Degree inEngineering

Experience in EPC companiesin Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Power industries

Availability to be relocated abroad

Self-motivation, a proactive outlook and good communication skills

Ability to technically deal with other disciplines and to coordinatemedium / large engineering team

Fluent in English and in Russian
