We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Electrical and Instrumentation (EI) to lead and manage critical aspects of our EPC projects.

Based in Forlì, Italy, this is a permanent opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Senior Project Engineer, EI, you will bridge the gap between system design and workshop implementation, ensuring that all electrical, instrumentation, control, telecom, and fire and gas systems are seamlessly integrated and executed to the highest standards. FUNCTION OBJECTIVESProject Management: Support the Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager in leading oil and gas projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Provide expert leadership for EI activities, ensuring compliance with project objectives and client expectations. Develop and implement comprehensive EI plans to guide project execution. Coordinate the integration of 3D modeling, site installation, testing, and startup processes for EI systems. Address and resolve technical and operational challenges in EI areas to meet project milestones. Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, fabricators, and multidisciplinary teams for effective communication and collaboration. Lead and motivate the EI project team, assigning tasks and ensuring they have the resources to succeed. FUNCTION DIMENSION RESPONSIBILITIESLead EI project activities from planning and design to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. Develop and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for EI activities, making adjustments as necessary. Oversee key project phases such as mechanical completion, factory acceptance tests, punch list resolution, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate EI solutions into project designs, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements. Support supply chain activities related to EI purchases and subcontracting for engineering and construction services. Provide technical guidance during the detail engineering, 3D modeling, construction, and commissioning of EI systems. Implement robust troubleshooting strategies to address project challenges effectively. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within the team. COMPETENCE EXPERIENCEEducation: Professional technical high school diploma in relevant technical disciplines (required); BSc degree would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Training in AI, 3D modeling, and cybersecurity is strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum 15 years in the energy sector, with extensive experience in EI tasks within EPC projects. Proven track record of leading EI activities from early phases to final client acceptance, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting. Strong experience with 3D modeling, site installation, testing, and startup processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Expertise in MEG, TEG, SRU/PWT, and other process system technologies is a strong advantage. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
