Cumming Group looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager in Milan.

The role of a Senior Project Manager includes the following responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.

Lead and manage all aspects of construction activities, including site supervision, contractor management, OFCI management, and coordination with third-party stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Lead regular progress meetings with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams (consultants and lawyers).

Organize and coordinate consultants to ensure timely execution of the permitting plan.

Prepare and submit accurate and timely project reports and documentation as per the client's requirements.

Provide advice during negotiations with contractors and suppliers, and assist the Cost Manager and Risk Manager.

Manage change orders and claims effectively, instruct designers on potential changes, and liaise with the all parties.

Oversee project closeout activities, including commissioning and handover.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's team on-site.

Take responsibility for the project schedule, identify critical path issues, and proactively drive General Contractors through recovery plans when necessary.

Coordinate construction activities across the property.

Manage all activities required to fulfill the permitting plan in place.

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex data center construction projects.

Full comprehension of Fidic Yellow Book contracts.

Proven expertise in all phases of the project lifecycle.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.

Excellent client relationship management and risk mitigation skills.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate various stakeholders effectively.

Key Considerations: The role will require the SPM to be mostly on-site; remote office work will be agreed upon with the client.

The client will provide office facilities, but hardware and software licenses are excluded.

Once 100% of the monthly workload is achieved, the Senior PM will not be allowed to engage in other projects.
