OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLEThe Senior Project Manager is responsible and accountable of the entire governance of specific Project initiatives characterized by a maximum degree of business risk in terms of financial aspects, organizational, technological and contractual complexities. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Senior Project Manager, working together with the Project Director, will be responsible for:Manage and ensure the overall direction of a complex project assigned to different Project Managers/Senior Project Managers in charge of portion or phases of the entire scope of work;Manage and ensure contractual commitments and financial and operating objectives are met for an assigned project, coordinating with Head of Contract and Project Management, Business Functions, Chief Operating Officer and Regional Project Director;Manage and maintain relationships with the Customer Project Management / Director. TasksManage the overall Project performance in terms of Time, Cost, QHSE requirements, Schedule and Interfaces;Monitor the performance of Project Managers assigned to the projects under their responsibility being ready to take the ownership of some initiatives in case of escalation;Be accountable at HQ Level for the entire Project from an execution and financial points of view;Ensures that the appropriate control steps are in place to guarantee Company's coverage and mitigation of Portfolio risks;Sponsor Company towards Customers. The duties contained in this job description are not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked by management to undertake reasonable duties associated with this functionQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEMinimum Qualifications:Honours degree Technical Engineering Subject() Approved Project Management qualification (IPMA, PMP, PRINCE or similar)Availability to travel intensively with potential chances of relocation outside home countryMinimum Experience:Significant experience as a Project Manager.

(Complex projects 3 years of experience / Recurring projects 5 to 7 years of experience)Delivered on a number of industry related projects across a range of sectors and customersProven track record in successfully executing multi-disciplined projectsSignificant time spent in the negotiation and control of external service suppliers and contractorsProven man-management experience of successfully managing multi disciplined teams in a technical offshore engineering environmentDelivery of projects with successful adherence to H&S targets in a highly regulated industryConsistent achievement/ improvement of project financial targetsYour application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
