OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE The Senior Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the entire governance of specific Project initiatives characterized by a maximum degree of business risk in terms of financial aspects, organizational, technological and contractual complexities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Project Manager, working together with the Project Director, will be responsible for:

Manage and ensure the overall direction of a complex project assigned to different Project Managers/Senior Project Managers in charge of portion or phases of the entire scope of work. Manage and ensure contractual commitments and financial and operating objectives are met for an assigned project, coordinating with Head of Contract and Project Management, Business Functions, Chief Operating Officer and Regional Project Director. Manage and maintain relationships with the Customer Project Management / Director. Tasks Manage the overall Project performance in terms of Time, Cost, QHSE requirements, Schedule and Interfaces. Monitor the performance of Project Managers assigned to the projects under their responsibility being ready to take ownership of some initiatives in case of escalation. Be accountable at HQ Level for the entire Project from an execution and financial point of view. Ensure that the appropriate control steps are in place to guarantee Company's coverage and mitigation of Portfolio risks. Sponsor Company towards Customers. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Honours degree in Technical Engineering Subject. (best if) Approved Project Management qualification (IPMA, PMP, PRINCE or similar). Availability to travel intensively with potential chances of relocation outside home country. Minimum Experience: Significant experience as a Project Manager (Complex projects: 3 years of experience / Recurring projects: 5 to 7 years of experience). Delivered on a number of industry-related projects across a range of sectors and customers. Proven track record in successfully executing multi-disciplined projects. Significant time spent in the negotiation and control of external service suppliers and contractors. Proven man-management experience of successfully managing multi-disciplined teams in a technical offshore engineering environment. Delivery of projects with successful adherence to H&S targets in a highly regulated industry. Consistent achievement/improvement of project financial targets.
