DXC is assisting a major US healthcare service provider in developing ingress provisioning standardization functionality in the Public Cloud Platform. It will harden internal client infrastructure by applying security guardrails centrally and make all inbound traffic more observable. As a next step, DXC will assist the client in integrating existing ingress resources of applications to the infrastructure provided by the Public Cloud Platform Ingress Provisioning Service. The project engagement model is outcome-based, and the successful outcome is measured in terms of applications migrated to the new infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:Develop Detailed Project Plan: Create a comprehensive plan outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocation for the ingress provisioning standardization and integration phases. Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between DXC and the client team to ensure alignment on objectives and milestones. Risk Management:Identify and Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify potential risks related to security, integration, and timeline, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor Compliance: Ensure that all procedures adhere to industry security standards and regulations, particularly those relevant to healthcare data. Quality Assurance:Define Success Metrics: Establish clear criteria to measure project success, focusing on the number of applications successfully migrated. Oversee Testing and Validation: Ensure testing of the ingress provisioning functionality to guarantee performance and security. Communication and Reporting:Regular Updates: Provide consistent updates to all stakeholders about project progress, challenges, and achievements. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, decisions, and outcomes to support future reference and accountability. Change Management:Handle Scope Changes: Effectively manage any changes in project scope, ensuring impacts are understood and agreed upon by all parties. Outcome Delivery:Focused on Outcomes: Drive efforts to meet the outcome-based project model, ensuring that the target number of applications are migrated to the new infrastructure. Post-Implementation Review: Conduct a thorough review after integration to assess outcomes, gather learnings, and recommend improvements. SKILLS
