You will lead the execution of medium-size to large projects or project portfolios and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Main Accountabilities:Project Leadership: Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Planning and Scheduling: Defines, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans. Project execution and control: Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies.

Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. Contract claims and procurement management: Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements. Stakeholder relations: Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. Health, safety, and environment (HSE): Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies. Requirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in an engineering field;At least 8 years of experience in project management of medium size projects with a focus on EPC projects, in addition to experience working on construction sites;Experience managing projects under different contractual models in the Italian public and private sector (i. e. , FIDIC, Codice dei Contratti Pubblici). Fluent in English; mother tongue Italian. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and Microsoft Project. Proactive and highly organized, with experience in coordinating teams also in remote locations;Available to travel nationally & internationally, as needed (average 25%);Previous experience with Italian utilities is a plus (Terna/Enel/Edison).
