We're looking for a Quality Engineer to champion functional and product quality within our factory operations. In this position, you will own the control plan for the value stream, validate standardized work from a quality perspective, and serve as the leading voice of customer quality within the value stream. Additionally, you will drive supplier quality improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.

The position will be based in Minerbio, Italy. Main tasks and responsibilitiesFollow up the quality of the incoming goods and packages from a safety perspectiveIdentify and raise concerns of unsafe practices and ensure 6SFollow up and reporting of quality deviations/defectsInvoicing of in-house technical claimsAct as the quality lead for a value stream(s)Liaise with customers and CSCs on quality defectsCreate non-conformance reports for customer, internal or supplier deviations to drawing/process or performanceUse of statistical process control tools where requiredSuppliers cooperation related to the quality deviations, individual countermeasures/corrective actionsCreate a product audit plan and conduct internal/external quality auditsData collection according to the specific project requirementsUpdate daily SQDIP boards with quality metricsFollow up of internal quality defects and amount of rework -> coordination of corrective actions accordingly (A3, 8D)What you'll need to succeedBSc of technologyLSS - Yellow beltSeveral years of experience from quality function and strong experience from mechanical industry and assembly operationsKnowledge and awareness of different quality tools (Sourcing Navigator; ERP; A3; 8D; Kaizen, etc. )Good cooperation skills with internal and external partiesStrong technical understanding of manufactured products and their functionalityUnderstanding of technical drawingsQuality and process understanding and development attitudeFluency in English, both written and verbalYou will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organization where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
