Our client is a well-known, established Personal Care brand, routed on solid ethical values, aiming at being "the best for the world", creators of good life for all through beauty, ethics and sustainability.

On their behalf, we are looking for a Senior R&D Cosmetic Formulator – Skin Care Who will participate in the global development activities of the company's R&D laboratory, for formulation of innovative skin care products sold in retail as well as in professional networks through SPAs.

The mission of this role will be to create and facilitate excellent and sustainable high-naturalness formulas in terms of functional and sensorial performance, working closely with product development and supply chain functions to ensure high quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities: - Formulate and facilitate the development of innovative high-naturalness skin care products, line extensions and product improvements, according to the marketing plan and respecting the timing - Identify and apply new/or improved formulation technologies - Effectively manage projects - Collaborate as a key team member through strong communication skills and team spirit, and to contribute with innovative ideas to the company success - Keep abreast with Current market trends and interact with customers - Define the specifications of products collaborating with the relevant departments - Follow meetings with suppliers of raw materials in order to identify relevant and achievable innovation - Promote and impulse innovative ideas in terms of raw materials, formulas, technologies and concepts - Monitor and maintain quality control of formulations to ensure consistency with each batch and assure quality all along the development Past experiences and skills: - Minimum of 4 years' experience in developing cosmetic skin care formulations in structured cosmetic companies - Proven experience on suncare formulations - Bachelor/Master's degree in a scientific discipline - Knowledge of natural ingredient's related standards - Able to communicate with the team to share knowledge and support competencies development - Able to work effectively across teams, under pressure and on multiple tasks - Professional knowledge of Microsoft Excell - English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

Italian is a nice to have - Strong understanding and passion for the skin care formulation environment Location: Emilia Romagna (1 hour drive from Milano)
