Within the Satellite Communication (SatCom) LoB, we seek a senior "Sales Manager" to help drive business growth in the Oil & Gas market.
Your responsibilities will include driving the company growth plan in the assigned segment by developing the existing customer portfolio and enlarging Telespazio's penetration rate on new potential clients.
You will align closely with counterparts in project management and sales engineering departments to lead execution of coordinated go-to-market strategies and sales plays.
You will respond to and work closely with the national commercial director who is driving strategic support, global co-programming, and portfolio engagement to help drive top-of-funnel customer acquisition and accelerate sales cycles in the field.
Your customers leverage state-of-the-art technology on fixed and mobile satellite connectivity of Telespazio to provide primary or backup link solutions or added value services driven in collaboration with our partners.
You are passionate about sales and negotiation, a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, execute against ambitious goals, and consistently embrace the Telespazio Culture.
Roles & Responsibilities: Ensure the analysis, identification, and strategy setting of commercial prospects and define the commercial plan for the assigned marketAccelerate customer acquisition through well-developed sales engagements and a successful GTM StrategyMeet or exceed quarterly order intake goal targetsCreate & articulate compelling value propositions around TPZ servicesCo-ordinate the offering processes and the teams — on the technical and project management side — supporting themManage relationships with current and potential customers, maximizing commercial opportunitiesEnsure collection and systematization of data and information from intelligence and scouting actions on new sales opportunitiesPerform market intelligence activity and continuous scouting on new opportunities and guarantee subsequent internal dissemination of inputs gatheredEnsure customer satisfactionBasic Qualifications: Passion for sales and business negotiation6-10 years of technology/telecommunications related sales or business development experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable delivering results amid ambiguity and changePreferred Qualifications: Previous expertise in Satcom or TLC businessA technical background, such as in engineering or computer science
