Senior Social Media Strategist
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist for our client, a digital native company operating in the beauty sector. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy by country across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage with audiences, and drive business objectives on a global scale. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, impactful content creation, and effective campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to optimize performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media Strategy Develop a comprehensive global social media strategy by country aligned with the company's brand identity and business goals. Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure a competitive edge. Content Creation Collaborate with content team and agencies to create engaging, relevant, and shareable content for social media platforms (copy, image, video, and interactive formats) maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social channels and countries. Manage content calendars and scheduling to ensure a steady flow of high-quality posts. Community Development & Engagement Foster meaningful connections with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly. Monitor discussions and trends related to the brand, industry, and competitors, and engage in relevant conversations. Campaign Development Plan and execute global social media campaigns that align with product launches, events, and marketing initiatives. Develop creative and innovative campaign ideas to generate buzz and engagement. Analytics and Reporting Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and sentiment. Providing regular reports to leadership. Utilize insights to adjust strategies, optimize content, and improve overall social media effectiveness. Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with product, PR, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment and integration of social media efforts with broader strategies. Influencer Partnerships Collaborate with influencer marketing team to Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in Business or Communication. Proven experience (7+ years) in high-end digital companies. Experience in beauty or related categories (fashion, lifestyle) and in B2 B is a plus. Proven experience (4+ years) in social media management on a global scale. Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their nuances, and best practices. Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging content. Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics and translate them into actionable insights. Strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with international cultures and languages is advantageous. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluent in Italian and English is mandatory, French is a plus. Location : Milan, onsite.
