A Senior Software Architect is sought by this leading electronic systems tools and design organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Milan (Munich or Paris would also be acceptable).

Working in the Industrial / Automotive division the Senior Software Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing complex safety critical software architectures for complex toolsets conforming with ISO26262 and IEC61508 standards.

The Senior Software Architect will be working with multiple design and development teams and customers ensuring the specification and architecture is fit for task. Having completed your technical education, you will have gained several years of experience developing object-oriented software and firmware in C and C++ preferably aimed at EDA software tool development.

Your background will also include a successful track record of delivering efficient software architectures for industrial or automotive applications.

You will have some knowledge and experience of Functional Safety concepts, analysis and compliance (FMEA/ FMEDA) and also knowledge of ISO26262 and / or IEC61508.

You must be able to demonstrate a real knowledge of EDA tools design and development processes. This position can be based in Milan, Munich, or Paris. Candidates need to be fully authorised to work in the EU. The successful applicant can expect a very attractive base salary, bonus and a full benefits package.
