Role purpose The purpose of the role as Senior Software Engineer is to oversee the development and implementation of backend systems, ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet business objectives, collaborate with the other members of the team and lead junior figures. Main Responsibilities Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical tasks Refactoring and maintaining existing software Defining and implementing solutions to new business needs Keeping technical governance of initiatives and being able to relate with business, providing and maintaining technical documentation Sharing knowledge during cross team activities and mentoring junior colleagues Minimum required skill set, knowledge, and experience Advanced knowledge of Java and SpringBoot Advanced knowledge of Container technology (Kubernetes, Openshift) Deep understanding of Microservice Architecture and knowledge of main patterns Good level of English Good knowledge of Version Control System (Git) and build tool (Gradle) Good knowledge of AWS services (IAM, EC2, EKS) Basic knowledge of IaaC (Terraform) Basic knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, Kafka Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD) Main Office: Milan
