Role purposeThe purpose of the role as Senior Software Engineer is to oversee the development and implementation of backend systems, ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet business objectives, collaborate with the other members of the team and lead junior figures.

Main ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing business requirements and translating them into technical tasksRefactoring and maintaining existing softwareDefining and implementing solutions to new business needsKeeping technical governance of initiatives and being able to relate with business, providing and maintaining technical documentationSharing knowledge during cross team activities and mentoring junior colleaguesMinimum required skill set, knowledge, and experienceAdvanced knowledge of Java and SpringBootAdvanced knowledge of Container technology (Kubernetes, Openshift)Deep understanding of Microservice Architecture and knowledge of main patternsGood level of EnglishGood knowledge of Version Control System (Git) and build tool (Gradle)Good knowledge of AWS services (IAM, EC2, EKS)Basic knowledge of IaaC (Terraform)Basic knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, KafkaBasic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD)Main Office: Milan
