Senior Staff Embedded Automotive Software Definition Engineer (F/M/Div)
As a Senior Staff Embedded Automotive Software Definition Engineer, you will act as a key driver for our new microcontroller platform to define the software concepts and product requirements with focus on automotive software for MCAL, IVN and communication layers.
In this role at Infineon, you will have 'hands-on experience' as you are in charge of the software, but you can easily get in touch with real hardware.
A high-quality mindset working according to the relevant automotive standards process frameworks such as ISO26262, ISO21434 ASPICE will be key.

Then join our growing team in Padova today. Job DescriptionAs a Senior Staff Embedded Automotive Software Definition Engineer, you will define software architectures optimized for Infineon automotive microcontroller.
You will have a focus on middleware low layer software with a focus on MCAL, IVN and communication layers. In your new role you will:Engage in technical discussions with internal external stakeholdersFormulate unambiguous product requirementsSpecify unambiguous verification criteria for product requirementsParticipate in formal reviews of requirements architecture specificationsAnalyze change requests and/or bug reports related to requirements or architectureFollow the formal process based on V-model, ISO26262, ISO21434 ASPICE. Your ProfileYou are quality oriented, self-motivated and remain focused on solutions even in complex situations.
You also cooperate across boundaries and contribute to a great team atmosphere by open and constructive communication. You are best equipped for this task if you have:A university degree in technical studies, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology or equivalent field of studiesA minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Embedded Automotive SoftwareKnowledge in real-time OSs, low-level drivers and communication protocolsGood knowledge of Requirement Engineering, Embedded C UMLKnowledge in automotive standards processes as ISO26262, ISO21434 ASPICEAUTOSAR CP + AP knowledge is a plusAutomotive IVN and ethernet knowledge is a plusFluent English skills.
