You will be responsible for design-in collaterals and for providing technical customer support on product level. In your new role you will:Provide Customer and Field Support serving as the primary expert for global customers and Infineon's Field Application Engineers, providing specialized support for our OPTIREG System Basis Chips (SBCs), PMICs, linear regulators, switchers, and transceiversAnalyze and support technical customer issues, particularly in power supply and functional safety, by leveraging detailed product knowledge to facilitate design-in processes for our customersDevelop and maintain technical documents such as datasheets, application notes, and articles to aid customer understanding and product usageCreate and refine technical materials for Go-to-Market activities, including evaluation boards, reference designs, and design-in support toolsConduct comprehensive feasibility, benchmarking, and development studies for various automotive applications, focusing on ECU power supplyLead technical training sessions and workshops for Field Application Engineers and customers globally, sharing your expertise and insightsWork closely with colleagues, product definition engineers, product managers, RD teams, validation and verification teams, production test engineers, and functional safety engineers to foster knowledge sharing and collaborationYour ProfileYou are an active listener who values customer feedback and strives to balance their needs with Infineon's interests.

Your curiosity about new automotive market requirements and dedication to sharing knowledge make you an asset to any team. You are best equipped for this task if you have:A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or a similar field of studiesAt least 5 years of experience in a technical role such as Technical Marketing, Application Engineer, or Design Engineer within the automotive or semiconductor industryStrong knowledge of linear and switched power supplies, including state machines and watchdogs, schematic and PCB layout skills, lab experience, and circuitry design knowledgeUnderstanding of functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and microcontrollers is highly advantageous as well as a sound foundation for Body/ZONE applicationsProven experience in engaging with customers and functioning as a bridge between internal RD and external partnersDemonstrated capability to drive complex technical problems to resolution by advising teams and synthesizing their contributionsFluency in English (mandatory) - German would be a plusPlease send us your CV in English.
