The company has someimportants branches in nord Italy. About the role:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BUYER to be responsible forselecting and purchasing quality products for our business.

The buyer, reporting to the HEAD OF PROCUREMENT in the PROCUREMENT DIVISION, will workwith staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and makepurchase decisions based on demand.

The SENIOR STRATEGIC BUYER should be analyticallyminded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best pricesaccording to budget.

Your responsibilities will include processing purchaseorders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating and maintainingan inventory, quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams andmanagement.

Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous. Role Responsibilities:-Worksclosely with category managers of respective category and project procurementmanagers implementing the category strategy and linking it into the business-Adaptsand implements catalogues and framework contracts on Divisional/ regional levelin compliance with guidelines-Runsnegotiations, awarding decisions and follow-up with suppliers, takes awardingdecisions in line with category strategy-Executessupplier selection along strategy, requirements, supplier base development, andidentification of new suppliers-Directinvolvement in and solving of issues with suppliers (e. G. , quality, delivery, and service issues), etc. -Researchof new technologies, materials on request of other company functions (technicaloffice, R&D, production office); -Monitorsand communicates performance of suppliers-Strivesfor automation and digitalization practices and tool improvement-Ensurescost, availability, innovation, and quality within the sourcing plan creationand execution-Ensurescompliance with procurement process, policies, and other statutory requirementswithin category-Accountabilityof KPI's as agreed by the line manager Key Accountabilities:-Partnerin designing increments of procurement strategy-Teamleader operational and service manufacturing buyers -Proactiveand value-added approach in the supply chain processes management and withstakeholders-Continuouslyoptimizes procurement processes in scope of work-Continuousimprovement of processesWe require:-University, bachelor's degree in engineering -Procurementor Supply chain Certification (optional)-English(fluent)-5+ yearsof experience in procurement processes-Profoundbackground international contract management-Backgroundin quality management-Solidcost analysis and management experience -Deepknowledge of design to cost project related to welded construction, CNC &Carpentry -Inter-CulturalSensitivity -Experiencewith implementation of corporate procurement -Workexperience in complex organizations -Profoundnegotiation experience across the supplier markets-Marketanalysis experience-Ability to network and buildlasting relationships-Internal stakeholder /supplierrelationship management-Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically-Takes ownership of the work, successes, and mistakes-Very good communication skills-Negotiation Expert for Large andcomplex negotiations-Contract and contract frameworkexperience-Commercial/analytical andengagement skills-Proactivity and result orientation-Availability for short trips-Knowledge of technical drawing-Excellentknowledge of Office and Excel; -Candidates from all over Italy willbe considered and will be able to transfer their domicile near the company toParma and its provinceWe offer:-InterestingSalary Package-CareerDevelopment -Work experience in modern, complex and challenging , international organization; Before applying check out or website to make sure theoffer is still open.
