DescriptionPosition at GroupM GroupM is looking for a SENIOR STRATEGIST to be part of our Strategic department team. The ideal candidate will be able to make recommendations to clients/brands on how they can improve their performance and on how to reach business objectives through communication plans. He/she will have, always stay on top of emerging consumer, category and business trends that impact a clients' business. RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting • Supporting Strategy Leaders and CSO in developing communication strategies that solve business challenges and designing media campaigns that achieve communication goals. • To be in regular contact with the Client, keeping them up to date on all media matters • Presenting effectively results and media updates • Developing new ideas and maintaining solid relationship • Coordinating and collaborate with agency partners, internal teams at local and international level Strategy • Develop a strategic approach for all media touchpoints including content, influencer, experiential activities, and sponsorships • Provide critical & informed POV of new and emerging communication opportunities • Campaign monitoring, analysis and reporting of campaigns with support of media planners • Provide recommendations to optimize and adapt the campaign according to data insights and analytics SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Good storytelling and information design skills • Passion for data and insights • Proven experience in account management with demanding, possibly international clients • Knowledge of media insight tools such as TSSP, ComScore, Global Web Index etc. • Knowledge of Google suite and other digital platforms is a plus • Updated on emerging communications opportunities and trends • Confident communicator with well-developed presentation skills • Proactive, good attention to details and an ability to analyze data • Excellent computer skills • Fluent in English LOCATION Wpp Campus in Milan (plus the option for hybrid working) We are proud to have a team made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
