This role offers an exciting opportunity to support key sustainability projects, drive environmental and social impact, and contribute to cutting-edge initiatives in green building and decarbonization. Role Overview: The selected candidate will play a crucial role in implementing sustainability strategies , ensuring projects align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. Working closely with internal teams and clients, this position will contribute to research, compliance, and innovation in sustainable design and construction. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support sustainability projects within the Life Sciences sector, ensuring all environmental and sustainability targets are met. Collaborate with clients, design teams, and construction teams to integrate sustainability objectives into project planning and execution. Track and report project-specific sustainability goals , ensuring timely and accurate delivery of sustainability reports and documentation. Provide technical guidance on green building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL , ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards. Conduct research on upcoming sustainability legislation , green building trends, and evolving industry standards to keep clients informed of new opportunities and regulatory changes. Support the development of white papers and thought leadership materials on sustainability best practices. Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, engineering, or related fields. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Energy Engineering ( Master's preferred ). Proven experience with energy efficiency initiatives and decarbonization strategies. Green Building Certification (LEED, WELL, BREEAM Accredited Professional). Strong understanding of energy modeling and carbon calculation software (e. g. , IES) and other digital sustainability tools. Ability to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and evaluate material sustainability. Knowledge of EU sustainability policies, including EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and carbon neutrality goals. Understanding of sustainability challenges related to energy and water conservation, material selection, and emissions reduction. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills , with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external clients effectively. Fluency in English and Italian (B2 or higher). Why Join?
