Job SummaryThe Red Hat Global Customer Success team is looking for an experienced, enterprise-level technical professional to join us as a Technical Account Manager in Italy.

In this role, you will work with a small set of key enterprise customers to provide architectural guidance and implementation advice for the Red Hat Infrastructure and Automation Portfolio to meet their business needs.

As a Technical Account Manager, you will provide a premium level of engagement that builds, maintains, and grows long-lasting customer loyalty by tailoring technical support to customer environments, facilitating collaboration with other vendors, and advocating on their behalf. What you will doPerform technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent issuesGain an understanding of customers' technical infrastructure and environment, hardware, and productsPartner closely with Red Hat Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to debug, test, and resolve issuesProvide advice and guidance to customers about their current and future Red Hat productsCreate documentation regarding customer issues and technical details on how to resolve themManage and grow customer relationships by delivering attentive, relationship-based supportTravel occasionally to visit the customers on siteServe as the customer's advocate within Red HatWhat you will bring5+ years of RHEL or similar Linux/UNIX system administration experiencePrior experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organizationTechnical knowledge of the Linux kernel and Linux file systemAbility to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships by delivering proactive, relationship-based supportOutstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and ItalianAbility to convey complex information to customers clearly and conciselyAbility to manage multiple issues and projects with an eye for detailHands-on experience with a variety of hardware vendorsExperience in system management, cloud, or server virtualization is a plusBachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline, preferably computer science or engineeringPrevious knowledge in some technologies such as Ansible, Satellite, Pacemaker clustering and Red Hat InsightsRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plusAbout Red HatRed Hat is the world's leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
