We are seeking a curious, skilled, and motivated Technology Architect to join our dynamic Cloud Success Services organization at SAP with the opportunity for rapid growth in the technical area.

As a Technology Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation journey of our customers by supporting the positioning and selling cycle of new SAP technologies.

You will also lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions based on SAP technologies.

Responsibilities Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and define technology strategies aligned with SAP's product portfolio. Design end-to-end enterprise solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration aspects. Develop architectural governance, roadmaps, and implementation plans to guide the execution of technology initiatives. Provide leadership and guidance to build architecture teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices, promoting reusability and adherence to SAP's architectural principles. Conduct technology assessments and facilitate decision-making processes to support solution adoption and investment prioritization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project delivery. Contribute to selling cycles of SAP Technology solutions (e. g. , RISE and BTP) while maximizing customer value. Play the Technical Architect role in SAP Implementation Projects, capable of delivering activities like definition of scope of work, customer project presentation, design technical aspects of solutions, writing Business Blueprint, leading offshore resources, designing project GANTT, producing high-quality deliverables, and identifying new business opportunities to enlarge SAP footprint. Play the role of "Expert on Demand" while supporting SAP Partners in their implementations by providing best practices and guidelines to ensure a successful SAP solution implementation. Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP technology offerings, actively participating in professional development activities. Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies A degree in STEM (or equivalent knowledge/experience).

Relevant certifications desirable. Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated, well organized, and with a strong innovation attitude. Excellent problem-solving capabilities in complex, multi-vendor computing environments. High proficiency in the SAP Technology product (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.

). Good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment. Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.

). Good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Willingness to undertake customer-related travel on short notice. Excellent communication skills in Italian are a must. Good written and oral skills in English are required. Strong awareness of global cultural differences; work experience in a multi-national, complex environment. Work Experience At least 5 years of customer-facing SAP Consulting experience. At least 5 years of solution design, enterprise architecture, and/or SAP implementation (e. g. , S/4HANA Conversions or other maintenance events). SAP Certifications on S/4HANA, NetWeaver are a big advantage (e. g. , C_TADM70_22, C_TADM_23). Experience with SAP BTP, IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP), SAP Premium Suppliers, and/or data centres is a big advantage. Experience in SAP HANA and S/4HANA performance analysis is a big advantage. Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise is an advantage. SAP Application Lifecycle Management and/or SAP Operations experience is an advantage. Experience of customer-facing pre-sales role is an advantage.
