Senior Travel Advisor - Sales Department
Our team is growing!
We are looking for a full-time, motivated Italy Travel Sales Specialist who lives in or near Florence, Italy where our offices are.

This is an in-person role, not remote working.
You speak English at a native or similar level (C1 or C2).
You speak Italian fluently (Not less than C1).
You have at least 3 years of experience in online and offline travel sales with a proven KPI record.
Experience in luxury travel or tourism (especially in wine & food experiences) is a plus.
You have excellent precision, organizational skills, and enjoy working in a timely and efficient manner.
You know Italy very well.
Start date: We need you to start as soon as possible and no later than February 2025.
Location: Florence center.

Key Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of the company identity and products.
Manage travel requests and create complete travel proposals throughout Italy.
Interact with clients via email and telephone (considering time zone differences).
Manage accounts and the entire process with suppliers, down to basic accounting.
Check for availability with suppliers, reconfirm pricing, prepare, assemble, and format proposals and calculation sheets.
Prepare and send out contracts, and collect payments.
Implement sold travel programs, including sending confirmations to clients and suppliers.
Verify invoices sent by suppliers in a timely and precise manner.
Respond to questions from traveling clients and solve issues that may arise during travel.
Handle incoming calls and emergencies with travelers, including off-hours (with a set plan).
Occasionally assist and accompany clients on the ground.
Use company travel and accounting software to create proposals, contracts, and documents.
Translate easily between Italian and English.
Ensure all materials meet established standards for appearance and content.
Additional Responsibilities: Work with management and the marketing specialist to develop timeline goals to drive business.
Assist with outreach, newsletters, and social media efforts.
Reorganize copy content, images, and materials (presentations, forms, etc. ).
Write new copy or coordinate the writing process as needed with external resources.
Maintain key documents and assist with DB management, trigger documentation, and more.
Participate in preparing performance recaps.
Qualifications - We're Excited About You Because: You speak English at a native or near-native level (C1 or C2).
You speak Italian fluently (Not less than C1).
You have 3+ years of experience in online and offline travel sales.
You know Italy inside and out.
You have strong written and oral communication skills.
You're proficient with Excel spreadsheets and comfortable with calculation tasks.
You have experience in marketing, both print and digital.
You have a proven track record in managing a budget to meet ROI goals.
You're passionate about staying up to date with travel trends (a plus).
You're analytical, proactive, and a problem-solver with insatiable curiosity.
You have the ability to evaluate alternatives and develop effective solutions.
You excel at building relationships within the team and with cross-functional partners & vendors.
You can prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
You have a flexible approach.
You have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and are highly resourceful, able to work independently.

SALARY: Starting from 28k yearly RAL, up for discussion based on experience and level.
+ Incremental bonuses based on reached goals.

TIMELINE FOR THE HIRING PROCESS: We will review applications on a rolling basis and aim to contact shortlisted candidates within two weeks of submission.
Our preferred location for this role is Florence, though we will consider strong candidates from throughout Tuscany and the Bologna metropolitan area.
The interview process will consist of: Initial phone screening.
In-person or video interviews with the team.
We aim to finalize the hiring process by early January 2025, with the successful candidate starting no later than February 2025.
