Job summaryThe role can be based in Madrid, Paris, London, Munich or Milan.
In this role you will work to create earth's greatest shopping experience on your categories. This is a key senior role in our consumer organization, at the very centre of the retail ecosystem, offers a good mix of strategic leadership, stakeholder & vendor management, operational & P&L development, and project management activities.
The Senior Vendor Manager will own their category strategy and performance, establishing strong relationships with key segment manufacturers and distributors, integrating them in our logistic and catalogue systems, planning the selection of season collections and managing inventory levels.
Further responsibilities will be to coordinate marketing activities and to drive projects such as improving catalogue quality, navigation and customer purchasing experience.
You will work in a highly international environment.
This role is for a passionate customer and category advocate, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills.

() job responsibilitiesEstablish the category strategy, including which categories to focus on, whichbrands to prioritize, what type of product, price range, customer experience, to offer, etc. Maximize the performance of your inputs (selection, price, availability, CX) and outputs (sales, profitability)Act as pivotal role in the E-commerce business, liaising with Pricing, Marketing, Instock Management, Logistics, Legal, and be responsible for product management & selection expansion, promotional campaigns, support to in-stock management, and vendor performance. Establish strong relationships with your vendors, through the development of strategic initiatives, annual negotiations and day-to-day operationsBasic qualificationsDegree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Management preferredProfessional experience ideally in management consulting, retail, operations, and/or business management. Proven ability to influence others in a business setting. Effective relationship-building and strong communication skillsExperience with data analysis and P&L ownershipEnglish fluency English, both verbal and written. Bias for action and results oriented mentality, combined with ability to work in a demanding but collegial environment where teamworkPreferred qualification MBAProven ability to use supporting tools and systems to deliver business improvements.
