ABB ELSE is the new ABB Service Division created with the goal of exploiting ABB installed base and developing the brownfield market thanks to a very wide and complete Service portfolio in terms of products and solutions.
Our Service Team has the task to keep the huge ABB MV&LV installed base up and running all around the world guaranteeing a high level of support to all the customers.
With a proactive and professional support, we propose and deliver high quality solutions, that is why we are looking for a person who is able to understand customer needs and figure out interesting solutions to customer problems in order to help Front End Sales to close contracts all around the world.
The Resource will manage export countries and will support and talk to ABB local Service Center in EMEA area on a daily basis.
**This position reports to**:
Service Sales Support Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Respond to market demands with offers aimed at providing the best reliable and safe products/solutions, as well as optimize the quality of the proposal in technical and economic terms.
- Interact with local service center in competence area to provide support with the requests and inputs in terms of go to market approach/strategy.
- Use ABB tools to manage and analyze the installed base with the goal of identifying business opportunities and development areas.
- Proactive follow up of the opportunities with periodic checks with ABB Local service centers.
- Forecast, interaction with management and number reporting.
- Update and monitor company tools for market data and opportunities analysis.
**Your background**:
- Degree in Electrical, Energy or Management (industrial/production curriculum) Engineering or a Technical Diploma/Mechatronics Diploma.
- Experience in working with foreign customers (good knowledge of English and Italian language is mandatory).
- Very good knowledge in Excel.
Nice to have: SAP and SalesForce.
- Capability to prioritize activities, focus on results and to work in a team, creativity, proactivity, and determination are a must!
- Capability to work in a demanding environment keeping the focus on your goals.
- Curiosity: always look at the procedures and processes and think if there is a way to optimize them in order to reduce the "number of clicks" needed for each operation.
