**Purpose of the Job**:
The Service Training Academy Manager has to coordinate, to promote and to manage all the Training Activities in Services Italy.
She/He has to support to organize a dedicated Training Academy, to collect all the internal needs, to create and maintain an internal register about all the training activities, all trained people, all trainers people in order to cover all the contractual, legal, but not only, requirements of our customers and to improve the quality/capabilities of Service maintenance personnel.
Sending the «Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza delle Ferrovie» (ANSF - the Italian National Agency for Railway Safety) the training programmes on safety activities, designating examination boards for the certification of professional requirements on safety activities, checking and upgrading competences of authorized personnel working on safety activities.
Upgrading and maintaining the Register of Instructors (including Instructors and Examiners recognized by ANSF for safety activities).
Supporting Operations and Line Managers in the identification of proper training paths for personnel employed.
Maintaining and developing a Competence Management System compliant to the provisions by the «Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza delle Ferrovie» (Italian National Agency for Railway Safety).
Developing and improving the Database for technical training records.
To support to improve and guarantee the adequate knowledge of Service Alstom personnel, about:
- General knowledge of trains.
- Special processes: Closing torque, Crimping, Glueing, Sealing, Riveting, Painting, Welding
- Specialized knowledge of trains concerning first and second level Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.
- EHS
- Alstom Tools (Musa Database, Therefore, CANON e ALPS)
- Organizations of the ALPS development plan
- Etc.
**Responsibilities**:
To support the Service Training Academy to maintain an high level of performance in Training activities.

**Network & Links**:
The Service Training Academy Manager will report directly to the Engineering Director inside the Service Engineering Italy.
**Internal contacts**:
Service operational and HR will be the main functions involved.
Permanent contact with RSC and Project Director Services BU.

Main Alstom Customers, main Alstom Suppliers
