Are you a jack of all trades, if so, our Shift Engineer role will allow you to lead and train engineering and landscape team members in all technical and non-technical areas.

This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment. - To respond to all guest repair and departmental repair requests promptly- To look after designated plant rooms report defects and keep clean- To be first point of contact for other departments job requests- To regularly check stock and to report to supervisors what needs ordering- Communicate rooms and areas needing repair and time lines on how long the work will take? - To meet all service standards in every guest interaction- To keep all equipment and tools provided by the hotel are kept in good repair- To work well alongside other departments and other colleagues within the department to ensure smooth running of the hotel- Communicate any delays due to any unforeseen problems in a timely manner so expectations can be managed?

? - To keep work areas clean and tidy at all times and use signage provided by the hotel- Coverage of night shiftsMinimum of 2-3 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician, preferably within a hotel or property management environment- High school diploma or equivalent, Technical school desired- Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Engineering Supervisor- Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels Role: Shift EngineerJob Type: Permanent , Full TimeLocation: Florence, Apply for this job now.
