We have an exciting opportunity for a Signage Graphic Designer to join our Architecture & Design Department.

Reporting to the Director of Architecture and Design, you will play a key role in developing innovative concepts for Decorative and Directional Signage across the MSC Cruises fleet.

In this position, you will produce graphic concepts for decorative signage, branding, wayfinding, and directional signage, ensuring that they align with the product and guest experience briefs.

You will work closely with the architects to meet the owner's expectations for each venue's design direction.

You will develop from the concept design to the detail and construction drawings, reviewing and approving the contractor drawings, mock-up and sample approval, following the installation and the delivery phase.

Additionally, you will be responsible for producing and updating signage booklets for each ship and preparing presentations to present concept designs to various stakeholders.

While signage will be your primary focus, you may also contribute to other graphic design projects, such as wall graphics, logo development, and the creation of patterns and textures as needed.

- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Design and-/or Graphic Design

- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design) and Microsoft package

- Good understanding of urban-/directional issues and proficiency in reading drawings and plans

- Proficiency in using AutoCAD (preferred)

- Previous knowledge of signage and signage design in a similar position is a benefit

- Open-mindedness and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment

- Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills

- Fluency in oral and written English

- Assists in the development of signage strategy

- Develops location plans-/elevations for signage

- Creates variations of designs for different signs

- Designs signage templates and develops their contents

- Prepares and presents design options

- Keeps signage booklet up to date

- Produces and reviews ADA signage and locations

- The existing right to work and travel in the EU is preferred
