POSITION MISSION

In the frame of Small Satellites Design & Development activities, SITAEL is looking for a Satellite Architect, with>2 years experience in the field of Space Systems Engineering, preferably at system level (mission, satellite, platform).

The Satellite Architect will report to the Head of Satellite & Mission Dept.

and will be involved in major satellite project, based on PLATiNO platform.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

The main tasks will be:

- Satellite Architect task and coordination of technical areas referring to the product (i. e.

satellite/platform)

- Preparation and management of the Satellite Technical Specifications, including the verification process (DVCM)

- Interaction with mission level for the requirements flow-down

- Definition and implementation of system level architecture (both functional and physical) for the satellite product

- Technical follow-up of lower level products (i. e.

Payload, Platform)

- Satellite level analysis and budgets preparation

- External IF technical management (i. e.

Launch Vehicle and Ground Segment)

- Support to product development roadmaps (small platforms)

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/TECHNICAL SKILLS

It is required:

- Aerospace Engineering (5y+) Master Degree

- At least 2 years of experience in Space Engineering, ideally Space Systems Engineering

- Good knowledge of Satellite Design and its subsystems/functions

- Good/Basic knowledge of Space Mission Design & Analysis

- Capability of performing technical coordination

- Good knowledge of satellite lifecycle and System Engineering methods and tools (requirement management, tradeoff studies, Sys ML)

- Very good knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, MS VISIO, DOORS, Matlab Simulink

- Very good knowledge of English and preferably also French
