We are looking for a Site inspector for Mechanical works.

The position can refer to one of the four offices in Italy, it is required availability to travel abroad for long period (depending by construction site duration).

We are looking to someone matching the following main characteristics.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Document Control of Construction Drawings, Schedules and Specifications.

- Interface with Engineering department for issue resolution

- Perform routine inspections of the quality of Mechanical installation

- Checking the working methods of all companies presents on the construction site and ensuring compliance with general and project specific operating / working procedures and compliance with the authority permits and execution documents like AFC drawings.

- Monitoring and reporting contractors performance and progress incl.

subcontractor working capacities.

- Determination of quantities on the construction site and the associated invoice verification.

- Planning and performing acceptance tests for construction works & deliverables

- Keeping record of all relevant construction site activities as outlined in various project documents (e. g.

construction management plan, client contract, etc.

)

- Checking the final vendor / construction documentation

- Proposing measures to resolve discrepancy, deviations and delays concerning the work

- Taking part in workshops, review meetings and regular project / team meetings as required.

- Creation and maintaining comprehensive project documentation within one's area of responsibility

- Report to construction manager

**Education**:

- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma (with 15 years of experience at least)

- Certified knowledge of common sector technical norms (API/ASME/ISO 9001 )

**Technical Competences**:

- Have strong PC competency (Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD

2D and 3D,

Navisworks, working with PDF files, Document management systems)

- Experienced with Mechanical and Piping systems and aware of system boundaries

- Knowledge of ITP's

- Understand the requirements of QAQC handover

- Experience in red lining drawings & schematics

- Experience in generating punch lists

- Have a strong attention to details

**Prerequisites**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical and/or Pharmaceutical construction sites

- Fluent in English, additional language will be considered as a plus

- Previous Mechanical quality control experience

- Understand the requirements of QAQC

- Be driven to succeed and be willing to learn and in doing so support others in the team
