THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:

Zalando is looking for a Site Manager for our 3PL managed XXL fulfillment center in Nogarole Rocca (near Verona), in Italy.

In the role of Site Manager you are representing the overall site's interests.

Together with the local Zalando team you will be managing the relationship with the service providers that are operating the warehouse.

And you act as the main liaison into the wider Zalando organization.

- In this role you are the local representative of Zalando Logistics and our local fulfillment center that will satisfy thousands of customers every day.

- In the current stage of ramp up you will be able to influence and shape the future of the team and the site.

Because the 3PL is managing the operation you focus on the contract management and the alignment of the site with the wider Zalando Logistics network and Central teams in HQ.

You are part of a multinational team of experts that inspires and supports you.

- In this position you are an expert in collaborating with others (internal and external), knowing when and how to lead and when to collaborate or follow to achieve common objectives, while you are continuously improving the collaboration.

- You will act across multiple dimensions (operational, technical, quality, continuous improvement, labour, legal, financial) in ensuring the site performs at its best.

- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong and successful relationships with multiple stakeholders and participate in the wider Zalando team

- You are a teambuilder that engages and connects the local team and you create a culture in line with Zalandos organization and social standards

- You are passionate about logistics and have a profound understanding of processes along the entire fulfillment chain.

Preferably you bring in experience from automated e-commerce and/or fashion logistics

- You act on bachelor level and bring in 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar environment like fulfillment services or contract logistics including leadership experience

- You have an entrepreneurial approach combined with a strong solution mindedness and you combine an analytical comprehension with a structured approach to problem solving.

- You speak and write business fluent in Dutch and English and you are open to travel abroad every now and then to visit our other sites and offices
