Site Manager Wind Farm
Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for 1 Site Manager for a Wind Farm in South of Italy.
**Posizione**:
The Site Manager is responsible for the complete organization and management of the construction site in co-operation with the PM.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Establish an adequate site organization (offices, equipment) in cooperation with the Project Manager
- Provide leadership, coordination, and management for the local construction team ( civil - electrical - HSE)
- Support the project team in all site aspects; Liaise with other project team members
- Ensure and optimize site organization with respect to safety, site cost, schedule, quality
- Act as interface and RWE's representative on site; liaise with local stakeholders (e. g.
local authority, councils, landowners) in order to keep a good relationship and in order to avoid misunderstandings
- Direct and, where necessary, assess the team members on site
- Report to the Project Manager on the status of the site activities
- Ensure that all relevant HSE and quality procedures / directives are followed
- Undertake regular and adequate safety walks on site in order to ensure of that the work is being carried out in a safely manner
- Identify opportunities, risks and variances on site
- Ensure timely reviews of documents to ensure that designs are progressing in a satisfying manner (time / quality / cost) - Ensure that the Works are undertaken in accordance with the land lease agreements and in comply with the prescription of Authorization
- Keep a contemporaneous site log book of all events, interruptions, on site which may impact on the project costs or time for completion in sufficient detail to fully evaluate any claims for variations or extension to time from the Project Contractors or the work package teams
- Direct and, where necessary, assess the team members on site
- Report to the Project Manager on the status of the site activities
- Ensure that all relevant HSE and quality procedures / directives are followed
- Undertake regular and adequate safety walks on site in order to ensure of that the work is being carried out in a safely manner

**Requisiti**:
- Experience with managing large construction sites
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
- Ability to make decisions and to give orders to construction team members
- Able to liaise with other departments/clients where necessary
**Altre informazioni**:
Expected duration of the project is 16 months, starting early September.
